Explorer'97 Troubleshooting P0401 but replaced EGR valve

ok the dpfe sensor (egr position sensor) is around 30 bucks and the vacuum solenoid is around 20 dollars. change both and then take the egr valve back off and clean the ports in the intake where the egr bolts to it. it has filled full of carbon. use a pipe cleaner and some intake and throttle body cleaner to clean out and then reinstall the egr and install the new parts. walla you have little money in the car and your problem will be fixed. if you take it to a shop you'll pay around 450 bucks

I have a 19 day cycle with a 7 day flow. My last period was August 22. As of Sept 10th, I missed my period. Before that I had common premenstrual symptoms so I was very surprised it never came. After this, I had the standard pregnancy symptoms: frequent urination, tenderness, morning sickness, dizzy, tired etc. I continue to still feel this way. However now, I have very strong cramping on both sides as well as a weird bloated section of my stomach underneath my ribs kind of shaped like a football. Am i overfeeding my fish?

I used the tetra safe start stuff and my water has been nice for a while. But after a while it started getting a little murky and i did a 25% water change but not much changed. I went to pet smart to check my water and they said that it was fine. i feel that im overfeeding my fish. I feed them a lot of flakes because they always seem hungry and always finish all the flakes and are constantly looking at the bottom for more. I have 3 goldfish in a 10 gallon tank. Ninja 250r making sizzling noise i do not know why?

hi guys i just bought a used 2009 ninja 250r (earlier today), but anyways i was practicing tryna accelerate from a standstill at a incline, tried it 3 times killed the bike 3 times ( before you give me pointers i know what i was doing wrong i wasnt giving it enough gas), but anyways on the 3rd try when my bike died it was making some sizzling type of noise from i think the gas tank, it didnt start up again when i tried to turn it on, so i waited for the sizzling to cease and then started it back up (it worked) anyways is there something wrong with the bike?? or was it simply the bike got to hot it was 71 degrees Fahrenheit today or 21 degrees Celsius, and i did leave the bike outside for a hour before i went on it is that a possible reason?? the bike has 200 miles on it and if my logic makes sense (which im kind of doubting) could it be because the bike was seldom used by the previous owner it acted like that because it wasnt used to be used like that?? thanks in advance

Hi! I was just wondering what my chances were of getting into one of the service academies, New London and Annapolis in particular. As for academics, I have a 4.18 GPA and got a 219 on my PSAT this past year (I'm going to be a junior in the fall). I'm on the distinguished honor roll at my school and also am in the National Spanish Honor Society, the National Science Honor Society, and hopefully NHS next year. Sports are not exactly my strength, to say the least. I'm on swim team for my school (but I'm not very good...working on that hahaha) and I also play intermural volleyball. I'll try to help you as much as possible even though i have never made a home-made ramp. My idea would be that you find another plank of wood and cut it out in the shape of a right triangle and make sure it is the same length as the bottom of the ramp. use super glue to glue the right triangle wood plank to the ramp. should work, but i'm not 100% sure. The engine won't turn over like it normally does and then it will only stay going at a higher RPM. THe engine "stalled" and turned off two times while i was driving. So I get to my clroom about 15 minutes early every monday and sit outside the room waiting on my own. Well there is is this guy who gets there early as well and he sits further along the corridor waiting outside his clroom. I don't know if you could ever get sick from being sad or emotional. My Worcester 9.24 electronic boiler has stopped working.?

Sounds like either your hot surface ignitor is out or your flame sensor is dirty not allowing burner to ignite. There should be a site gl or window that you can see the ignitor y. Watch at start up to see if you can see the ignitor starting, it will glow red hot if working. If it does and it lites then goes off after a few seconds then your flame sensor it dirty and needs to be cleaned. These arent difficult things to do yourself.. If not comfortable then call your HVAC contractor. Hope this helps

So far you look pretty good except for the SAT you want AT VERY LEAST a 1700, provided your gpa is really good which yours is but aim for a 1800-1900. Also SAT subject tests count alot too you're gonna want over 600's on those tests and ping your AP exams helps your chances as well. But keep the grades up, get plenty of community service hours, write excellent essays and work on testing and your good. BTW I'm also in Youth in Government!!!! The Washington DC section.

if you are familiar with atkins at all, you will know that you are going to loose 5 to 10 percent of your total weight loss in the first 2 weeks with the start of induction......and if you read the book you would also know that nuts arent allowed yet until OWL....same with fruit...please do the diet right if you are going to, and induction isnt a diet in itself..atkins is a lifestyle change and if used wrong can really hurt your body...........as for the scale difference, check your scale out and whatnot cause you just dont weigh less at night when all the food is still in your system..you notoriously should weigh less in the morning.....and please, please, buy and read the book....good luck

Mother of 3 needs help losing baby belly before it ruins my marriage...?

I am a mother of 3 great kids but they really did a toll on my stomach. I am 5ft 2 1/2 in and i weighed 135lbs before I got pregnant the first time at the age of 17 in 2003. I gained 50 lbs with my 1st and had her when I was 18 in 2004. I lost 20lbs and about a month later I was pregnant again and gained 30lbs and had her at the end of 2005. I was extremely depressed during 2005 because my husband was deployed to Iraq for a year. When my husband returned home in 2006 I was only able to lose about 15lbs. Then surprise I was pregnant again in 2007. I was sick the whole pregnancy and on bed rest for most of it so I gained 20lbs and my son ended up having to be delivered 2 mths early via C-section and at that time my tubes tied. But here is my problem.... with the stress of staying at home with 3 kids and my husband being medically discharged from the Army and out of work, I haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time on losing weight. Now my marriage is on the brink because my husband, being in shape from the Army, thinks it is easy to lose weight and that in 3 years my baby belly should be gone already. In some aspect he could be right but I'm stuck at a plateau. I'm not gaining weight nor am I losing weight. I'm eating right, exercising when I can and nothing is happening. If anyone has any advice please help me. I have been through way too much to lose my husband of 7 years and the father of my children over 30lbs.

I was recently invited to a spur the moment Disney World trip with a good friend of mine! I'm stoked for the trip! We're going for about a week. Here's my question though. I visited Disney World with my parents when I was about 6 years old and we visited for two days and a night. We only visited the Magic Kingdom and (what was then called) MGM Studios. I can only remember about 4 or 5 short things about Disney World yet my friend Anna who's been approximately 30 times INSISTS on getting me a "First Time Visitor" on. I would say that you have a problem with your wiring from the light switch to the stereo. In some cars they have a LED screen on the stereos because they don't have to have to have back lights. If the problem isn't a connection in the wire or something take the stereo out and check the back light circuit inside stereo. There might be a fuse for that circuit or it might be a burnt out bulb for the display. A person never knows until they take the time to check. If you don't know how to take the stereo out safely then take it to an auto sound retailer and see if they will take it out and repair it. If they don't do that it might be a good idea to get a new stereo. It also might be cheaper in the long run. Good luck.

Problem? While outside, I noticed the air conditioner fan motor kept stopping and then starting again.?

It's working fine as far as keeping the house cool and is running steadily inside. But when I went outside near where the unit is located, I would hear it humming, then stopping, humming, then stopping, every couple of seconds over and over. The horizontal fan at the top would be spinning quickly, then the motor would sound like it clicked off and the fan would slow down. Then almost immediately the motor would sound like it clicked back on and the fan would speed up again. But inside the house everything sounds fine. I just never noticed this before and wondered if it's a sign of something that needs to be fixed. Thanks for any help!
