Ninja 250r making sizzling noise i do not know why?

hi guys i just bought a used 2009 ninja 250r (earlier today), but anyways i was practicing tryna accelerate from a standstill at a incline, tried it 3 times killed the bike 3 times ( before you give me pointers i know what i was doing wrong i wasnt giving it enough gas), but anyways on the 3rd try when my bike died it was making some sizzling type of noise from i think the gas tank, it didnt start up again when i tried to turn it on, so i waited for the sizzling to cease and then started it back up (it worked) anyways is there something wrong with the bike?? or was it simply the bike got to hot it was 71 degrees Fahrenheit today or 21 degrees Celsius, and i did leave the bike outside for a hour before i went on it is that a possible reason?? the bike has 200 miles on it and if my logic makes sense (which im kind of doubting) could it be because the bike was seldom used by the previous owner it acted like that because it wasnt used to be used like that?? thanks in advance
