just toss it in the trash. dont hold her and rock her or give her a pacifier, thats the whole reason why shes screaming, she has no idea how to self sooth and she is plenty old enough to go to sleep without a pacifier and without being rocked. yes shell cry, but you just have to let her cry and soon shell see that its not working and shell give up. shes playing you, she knows now that if she screams enough, youll give her what she wants. show her that you do not give in to tantrums. from now on, get her relaxed and tired, then lay her in her crib, awake, and let her put herself to sleep. its very important that she learns to fall asleep without physical objects.
