Which gr do you like better? Palmetto St. Augustine or Empire Zoysia?

I just ordered the Empire Zoysia by plugs and planted it. I hopes it will take over the St. Augustine we have for many years. I think it is Floratam or Palmetto St. Augustine. If you seen Empire Zoysia yard before, is it darker green and more attractive and lush than St. Augustine? And will it overtake St. Augustine? Please let me know as soon as you reply so I can order whatever you recommends and is better. I lives in Florida, near Pensacola.
