For the people who have read The Tell-Tale Heart!?

welll, the most obvious thing is that he hears the heart ticking under the floorboards after he has killed the man. obviously, a heart can not continue beating after someone has been killed.. the sound is in his own mind. its his guilty conscious driving him mad!
