What shoes should i wear?

im going to a semi formal tennis banquet, and the dress im gonna wear is gold with a black lace overlay and some gold accents on the lace. its spaghetti strapped and hits a little under my kneecap. i was thinking of wearing black flats, but somehow, that just doesnt feel special. so i was thinking of like maybe black shoes with gold accents or something. or if there are any other color shoes that i can wear. thanks in advance =]
