Is it possible to believe in Santa Claus without believing in (the Christian) God?

My atheist daughter used to pray to Santa Claus. There's a lot more historic evidence for Santa Claus, so you can't really blame her. Plus, Malibu Barbie sounds like a better Pascal's Wager than an eternity praising God.
